Draws a subject to describe. Descriptive writing is taught badly when the prompt is abstract — 'describe a feeling' produces adjectives — and well when it is concrete and specific enough that the student has to look at something in their head.

Practical tips
- Limit it to a hundred words. Description gets worse with length more reliably than any other kind of writing.
