Choosing the right fitness tool
Three families live here. The **training tools** suggest something to do — a movement, a drill — and are drawn from curated lists, so each page shows a sample. The **session builders** arrange time instead: work and rest blocks with a running clock and a total summed from the blocks you can see, never estimated. The **competition tools** are schedulers: they take the entrants you type in and work out the fixtures, groups, brackets or rotations, using exact constructions rather than repeated shuffles. That distinction matters because the competition tools make guarantees a shuffle cannot — every pairing exactly once, one entrant per seeding pot per group, no squad repeating a drill station.
- Round-Robin Fixture Generator
- Everyone should play everyone and nobody should be knocked out. Produces the whole season, with home and away balanced.
- Tournament Bracket Generator
- You want a single winner by elimination. Builds the full tree to the final, with byes going to the top seeds.
- Group Stage Draw Generator
- You have too many entrants for one group and want the strong ones spread across them rather than clustered.
- Double-Elimination Bracket Generator
- One defeat should not end an entrant's day. Takes about twice as many matches as a knockout, and everyone gets a second life.
- Practice Drill Rotation Generator
- You are running a session with stations and need to know which squad is where in each block.
- Interval, Tabata, circuit, EMOM and AMRAP generators
- You want the session laid out as timed blocks with a real total, rather than an exercise suggested. These four differ in how the time is structured, not in what you do.
- Single-exercise generators
- The session is already planned and you only want one movement to fill a gap.
Every tool in this category draws its results in your browser. How Generate Random works explains how the randomness is produced and what happens to anything you type in.
