Cookies

Last reviewed: 22 July 2026

Generate Random’s core generators do not require cookies to function — inputs, results and session history are kept in your browser’s memory and are not persisted via cookies.

Current state

Generate Random has Google Analytics 4 configured, but its cookies are only set after you accept via the consent banner — declining, or later withdrawing consent, means no analytics cookies are set. We also send the same anonymous, aggregate events to HEKNO Analytics, which we run ourselves; it sets no cookies at all and is covered by the same consent choice. Google AdSense’s site code is installed and may load on qualified pages, but no advertising cookies are set and no ad has been shown to actually serve — that depends on Google approving the site and being switched on, neither of which has happened yet. A public advertising identifier is not itself proof of approval.

Consent

This site’s own consent choice covers analytics only. Advertising consent — required by Google for the EEA, UK and Switzerland — is handled separately by Google’s own certified consent process, which we have not yet published; until it is, advertising requests from those regions may be limited or blocked by Google. You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies may affect optional features such as remembering preferences, but will not prevent core generators from working.
