Mobility Routine Generator
Picks a joint-mobility movement — circles, rotations, controlled ranges of motion — distinct from the site's static-stretching generator, for improving movement quality rather than flexibility alone.
What this generator does
Suggests movements aimed at range of motion rather than strength or conditioning, which is a genuinely different list — mobility work is done slowly and without load.
What you'll get
This generator draws from a hand-checked list of 12 entries. Here is a spread of 6 of them, so you can see the style before you generate:
- Hip circles, 10 each direction per side
- Shoulder rolls, 10 forward then 10 backward
- Neck rotations, 5 each direction, slow and controlled
- Hip flexor lunge stretch with a gentle rotation, 30 seconds per side
- World's greatest stretch, 5 slow repetitions per side
- Leg swings, front-to-back and side-to-side, 10 each per leg
A fixed sample of the list, not a live draw — your own results are picked at random from all 12, without repeating until the list runs out. Original authoring for Generate Random — general joint-mobility movements, not sport- or programme-specific.. Last reviewed 2026-07-18.
How to use this tool
- Press generate for a movement.
- Generate again for a different one.
Common use cases
- Pre-workout mobility prep
- Desk-break joint mobility
- General movement-quality practice
Practical tips
- Move slowly and stay within a range you control; mobility work forced into a bigger range is stretching with extra risk.
- Do it regularly and briefly rather than occasionally and at length — range responds to frequency.
Entries are chosen with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so every entry on the list is equally likely. How Generate Random works.
