What this generator does
Picks an element at random from the periodic table, for a research task or a quiz. Every element is equally likely, which is what makes it fair — a weighted list would keep returning the famous ones.

This generator draws from a hand-checked list of 18 entries. Here is a spread of 6 of them, so you can see the style before you generate:
