How this generator works

One prompt is picked whole from a fixed pool of eight, each written as a complete framing exercise — "Position your product for the one customer type your competitors ignore" — rather than a single word or category to riff on. Nothing is assembled from parts; the prompt returns exactly as written.

Randomness and fairness

Prompts are drawn uniformly with the browser's cryptographic random number generator, with no knowledge of your product or market.

Limitations and good to know

• The pool holds eight prompts, so a workshop that runs through the generator more than once in a session will start repeating.
• Every prompt assumes a product that already exists and has competitors to be positioned against — it will not help name or validate an idea from nothing.

• Answer it in one sentence. A positioning statement that needs a paragraph has not been decided yet.
