Random Challenge Picker
Generate a random light challenge — a fun quick task to complete solo or with friends.
What this generator does
Draws a challenge from separate banks covering different kinds of activity, so the difficulty and type vary rather than every draw coming from one flat list.

- Generate again for a new one any time.
Common use cases
- Adding a fun forfeit to a game night
- Quick energiser activities
- Icebreaker challenges for groups
How this generator works
A challenge is drawn from a curated list, filtered by the effort level you choose so that a group can be given something proportionate to where it is and what it has. The levels are separated by what the challenge demands rather than how hard it sounds: whether it needs equipment, whether it needs space, and whether it needs anybody to be comfortable being watched.
Limitations and good to know
- Challenges are written to be harmless, but judgement about what suits your group and setting is yours. Skip anything unsuitable.
- Nothing here knows your group. A challenge that is warm and funny with one set of people is uncomfortable with another, and the list cannot tell them apart.
- No challenge involves risk, endurance or anything that should be attempted without supervision — but the person running the game is still the one responsible for what is attempted.
- The list is finite, so a long session will repeat. Drawing without replacement across a session is not something this page tracks.
