What this generator does

Draws one of ten familiar sandwiches by name — a BLT, a tuna melt, a Reuben. What makes each worth eating is the third thing after bread and filling, and that is where most homemade sandwiches fail: the bread and the filling are usually fine and there is nothing acidic, crunchy or sharp to hold them together.
