What this generator does
Produces a stock-keeping unit code in the shape retailers commonly use — a short alphabetic segment identifying the line, followed by digits. It is for filling a catalogue mockup or an inventory test, not for issuing real product codes.

How this generator works
Three letters are drawn from a 24-letter alphabet — the full alphabet minus I and O, which are dropped so a printed code is never confused with 1 or 0 — then joined to "SKU-" and followed by a five-digit number. Nothing in the letters or digits encodes a real category, colour or size; they are shape only.
Limitations and good to know
- Real SKU schemes are chosen by the retailer and usually encode meaning — category, colour, size. These encode nothing.
- I and O are deliberately excluded from the letters to avoid confusion with 1 and 0, which is a real convention but also means these codes are slightly less varied than a full 26-letter scheme would be.
