Randomness and fairness

Activities come from your browser's cryptographic random source by default; a seed word gives a deterministic, non-cryptographic draw, so an evening's pick from a run of dark nights can be found again rather than confused with a different night's idea.

Limitations and good to know

Assumes a northern-hemisphere winter — the season and the daylight pattern are reversed south of the equator.
32 activities in the pool, comfortably enough for a season, but nothing checks the actual weather or your local daylight hours.

Practical tips

Plan outdoor activities for the middle of the day; there is very little usable light either side of it.
Keep a couple of indoor options for the run of grey days that no outdoor list survives.
