What this generator does
Supplies where a character came from and what they did before the campaign, which is the part that gives a player something to roleplay. The class and race generators decide capability; this decides history.

This generator draws from a hand-checked list of 12 entries. Here is a spread of 6 of them, so you can see the style before you generate:
