Typing Practice Sentence Generator
Generates a random pangram-style sentence — one that uses most or all letters of the alphabet — useful for typing practice, font previews, or handwriting practice.
What this generator does
Returns a sentence to type for practice, chosen for covering a spread of letters and punctuation rather than for meaning. That coverage is the point — a sentence using only common letters trains very little.
What you'll get
This generator draws from a hand-checked list of 10 entries. Here is a spread of 6 of them, so you can see the style before you generate:
- The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
- Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs.
- The five boxing wizards jump quickly.
- Sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow.
- A wizard's job is to vex chumps quickly in fog.
- The job requires extra pluck and zeal from every young wage earner.
A fixed sample of the list, not a live draw — your own results are picked at random from all 10, without repeating until the list runs out. Original HEKNO-curated pangram-style typing-practice sentences (each uses most or all letters of the alphabet). Last reviewed 2026-08-03.
How to use this tool
- Press generate for a practice sentence.
- Type it out, then generate again for a new one.
Common use cases
- Typing speed practice
- Handwriting practice
- Font or keyboard testing
Practical tips
- Type for accuracy first and speed second; speed built on errors has to be unlearned.
- Repeat the same sentence three times before moving on — the second and third attempts are where the improvement is.
Entries are chosen with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, so every entry on the list is equally likely. How Generate Random works.
