Draws somewhere in the UK worth travelling to. The list spans all four nations and deliberately includes places well outside the usual shortlist, because the point of drawing at random is to reach the ones you would not have thought of.

This generator draws from a hand-checked list of 18 entries. Here is a spread of 6 of them, so you can see the style before you generate:

Every destination is equally likely, drawn with the browser's cryptographic random number generator. There is no weighting towards popular places, so a small town is as likely as a national park.

• The draw is a name; researching what is actually there is up to you.
• Transport connections vary hugely, and several entries are genuinely hard to reach without a car.
